The process of obtaining planning permission and building regulation approval from the local authority is explained in detail ensuring a comprehensive service from project inception and design to building.

The design service works in partnership with you, the client, translating your ideas into a realistic plans which meet your needs and budget.

This includes:

• Discussing the project and your personal requirements, and analysing the feasibility
• Conducting a measured survey of the existing property and preparing a survey drawing
• Preparing sketch designs of various proposals and obtaining client approval
• Preparing detailed drawings and submitting planning, listed building applications (if required) and building regulations applications to the local authority
• Receiving planning and building regulations consents

When the drawings are complete and all the relevant documentation is in place, you are then in a position to tender the works to builders.
